About Me
My Background
Laura was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to the Houston area as a young child. She grew up in Pearland and moved to Houston when she started college at Texas Southern University. Throughout high school she was a multi-sport athlete, playing volleyball, basketball, softball, and golf. After graduating high school, Laura ended up playing Women’s Professional Football, in which she enjoyed a 16-year career. Laura has nearly a decade of coaching experience and she’s had the opportunity to lead her team to two district championships at the varsity level. She has coached at KIPP Academy, Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy in the Woodlands, and the 14U travel team at Houston Hazard out of Deer Park where she was for 5 seasons. She is currently the Volleyball Specialist at Redline Athletics in Webster and is excited about joining Premier Juniors this season.

My Winning Philosophy
While I am very competitive, I also want to support all the competitors as we strive to make the sport of volleyball a fun sport for all ages. I work every day to better myself and to better the game! My winning philosophy is that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
